The session start now names the chronicle's most important gap also when the project has no open task. In 0.31.0 the SessionStart hook returned before it reached that line whenever no task was open, so a project whose tasks were all closed never got the invitation to map it. Found while checking the installed 0.31.0 on a real journal.
