Instead of a popup list where you can't see what is already added or not and disappears when you add an item it would be much more userfriendly to have a popup window with checkboxes so you can clearly see what has been added or not and you can easily add multiple items.
For example if you have 32 cores with multiple sensors each and 24 HDDs with the same name and all that differs is the serial number that you want to monitor the temps of it becomes a chore to add them all and difficult to tell if you've missed one.
