Clarify the Markdown and Highlight landing pages with personable, benefit-led copy that explains caching document trees, streaming responses, selective languages, CSS themes, and annotations. Retain the existing layout and demos. Add portable writing guidance to the existing agent instructions so marketing keeps its informal voice and reference docs remain precise.

Refresh size and Shiki panels with reproducible 1.0.0 measurements from October 1, 2026. Captions identify versions, runtime, import profiles, exclusions, and timing limits. Both docs pickers now show v1 and resolve to the existing main-branch docs. Existing route redirects preserve v0 and v1 links, including their document paths and query strings. Dependency and badge upgrades remain in #1321.

Validation: revised copy passes type checks, scoped type-aware lint, formatting, and diff checks. The initial revision passed production build, full lint, and 540 unit tests (3 skipped) and was visually reviewed locally. A repeat full test run is currently blocked by gray-matter loading yaml.safeLoad during content generation; the repeat production build stalled. No dependency files changed in this PR. CI validates the published revision. Focused regression checks cover version acceptance and branch mapping; preview HTTP checks confirm both v0/v1 aliases redirect with paths and query strings intact and latest docs return 200. Both v1 picker menus and docs navigation were visually checked.
