The Mindset (Read This or Waste the First Hour)
You are not writing code. You are directing a very fast, slightly unreliable junior developer who has read the entire internet but has zero taste and zero context about your product.
Your job:
Decide what the product actually is Keep the scope brutal Catch the dumb mistakes early Make the final call on architecture and UX If you try to let the AI “just figure it out,” you will spend four hours debugging hallucinated table names and broken auth. Been there. Multiple times.
Rule #1: One clear problem. One main user flow. Everything else is later.
Rule #2: You touch the code. The AI suggests, you accept or reject. Blind acceptance is how you ship security holes.
Rule #3: Ship ugly. Polish after people use it.
