Toggling the Secondary Sidebar sometime reveal "Copilot Chat" even if it's hidden

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: No

• VS Code Version: 1.139.1
• OS Version: macOS 27.0.0

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Install Claude Code for VS Code
2. Show the Secondary Sidebar using "CMD+Shift+B"
3. Right click "Chat" and choose "Hide"
4. Hide the Secondary Sidebar using "CMD+Shift+B"
5. Show the Secondary Sidebar again using "CMD+Shift+B", sometime instead of showing "Claude Code" VS Code will open the sidebar inside "Chat" (Copilot) even if it's hidden/unpinned from the secondary sidebar.
6. Once you select "Claude Code" in the tabs at the top of the sidebar, "Chat" will automatically disappear since it's supposed to be hidden.

The current workaround is to use Chat: Disable AI Features in the Settings.
But this will also disable the "Generate commit message" which I like.
