Rodrigo Gomes da Silva. Senior software engineer building whole products, from data tooling to on‑device AI.

I've been shipping software since 2010, mostly for media and retail companies. Today I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Globant, working with Disney Entertainment, and I like owning a product end to end: the data, the API, the interface and the release.

AI is part of how I work every day. I plan, build and review with Claude Code and a few MCP tools (a real browser, GitHub, current docs and web search), and I hold the result to the same bar as my own code: tests, review and a real run before anything ships.

whats-reader: Read, search and replay WhatsApp chat exports on your own device, with voice notes transcribed locally. mysql-events: React to MySQL inserts, updates and deletes in real time by reading the binlog, with no polling and no database triggers. pg-turbo: Dumps and restores large PostgreSQL databases over unreliable links, resuming where a dropped connection left off. vibewatch: Watches files by glob and runs a different command per event, from one fast cross-platform binary. baileys-store: Keeps WhatsApp bot auth sessions in Redis, Postgres or any Keyv backend, plus an in-memory chat store, so bots survive restarts. easyvpn: Connects to a free VPN server in the country you pick with one command, on Windows, macOS or Linux.
