Func lo.SnakeCase adds underscore before digits

Function lo.SnakeCase always adds underscore before digits, for example:

str := lo.SnakeCase("Text1")
// text_1

Is it supposed behavior? I used a different library, and it didn't add an underscore in such case (i.e. it'd return text1 in the above example).

Hi, thanks for reporting this!

This is intended behavior. samber/lo mirrors Lodash's casing rules on purpose, and Lodash treats digit sequences as separate words:

_.snakeCase('Text1')    // "text_1"
_.snakeCase('foo1')     // "foo_1"
_.snakeCase('vector4d') // "vector_4_d"

So lo.SnakeCase("Text1") == "text_1" matches the reference implementation. The other library just uses a different word-boundary rule both conventions exist, but samber/lo follows Lodash's.

Unfortunately the reference implementation made it's impossible to have a digit without an underscore before it.
