RC1 should be easy to try without promoting it into the stable package repository. The existing RC installer cannot select a release, and a versioned script URL alone still installs the stable packages.

Publish the canonical installer from a pinned engine commit and checksum. No version argument keeps the stable default, currently 0.117; --version v1.0-RC1 uses verified RC assets on a disposable host. Published RC1 assets, package mirroring and image defaults remain unchanged.

Depends on documentdb/documentdb#751 and documentdb/docs#79. Merge those before this website change. The build pin must remain reachable and checksum-valid; do not replace it with a moving branch.

The extension-only extended-RUM warning and stable guide-link regression check remain included.

AI assistance: GitHub Copilot helped implement and review the installer integration.

The pgNN-1.0.0 tags will move to the final 1.0 build; testers should pin pgNN-1.0.0-rc1. RC images exist for PostgreSQL 15-18, not only 17/18.
